Vanquishing Southern Shiverpeaks
Hey all,
I'm a monk who's currently experiencing a lot of difficulties with Lornar's pass. There's this huge group of stone summit with some healers that are impossible to pull apart. I was able to pull out a couple, but the trio of monks seems unwilling to leave its group without being escorted by the 10-12 stone summit warriors who deal 100 damage/hit.
I'm wondering if there's a special strategy for dealing with this group. As a monk, times are hard and the ursan bat didn't help at all.
EDIT: I am willing to shell out 50k to anyone who helps me successfully vanquish these Lornar's pass along with Snake Dance and Talus Chute. But if another person signs on to help, the reward will have to be divided evenly.
My IGN is Locke the Thief and my timezone is UTC/GMT +9 hours.
PM me in game if u are interested.

What worked for me:
1.Power Block mesmer
AND/OR
2. BHA Ranger
I remember doing this before EoTN was even out with a friend, so no cons or anything like that. We brought a powerblock mesmer, however, it was still a bit tough to take down the first stone summit healer, but we did it, slowly. Now I could assume it would be fairly easier though with con sets.

For that part, since I had only 6 people in my team, it was difficult. My suggestion is going around the normal droks run route and get a tank to block all the melee and focus fire on him on next to the wall. Then have DPS focus one at a time on the healers or melee. I used a discord team with a friend so I manged to kill a few stone summit melee before moving onto the riders (healers). Using cons will probably help a lot but I found single target DPS and enchant removal is very helpful.

As simple as your suggestion that I use cons sounded, it was logical and it worked! I ended up vanquishing Snake Dance, Dreadnought's and Lornar's in one sitting. I had to use 1 cons set for Dreads and 1 for Lornar's against the group of stone summit in Lornar's which actually turned out to be surprisingly weak when approaching them the right way.

I ended up using a power block mesmer build offered by an alliancemate. Gwen turned out to be pretty helpful.

Con Set = WIN
I used Con set and pulled like 4 groups altogether with no deaths.
Oh and I was using heroes and henches. You can PM me the build for the heroes if you want.

Glad you finally defeated the evil wrath of the stone summit. Happy to have helped you.
